Reflection
Hi everyone! It's me, Johanna the Elephant🐘 I think, this will be the last blog in this year. Time flies and it has been weeks since I became a freshman. I have done a lot of things in Extensive Reading Course, and now I have different perspective about reading. So, I will tell you how I feel/think after joining this course. Let's start!
These several weeks, I have read a lot of stories on ER Cental and English e-Reader. This course has brought back my habit of reading. Reading helps me in improving my choice of words in writing and speaking. Moreover, it has changed my way of thinking on how I solve my problems.
Extensive Reading is a fun course, you can make your reading report creatively through blogs. I really enjoy writing my blog (I hope you enjoy reading it), because it is a new experience for me. Nonetheless, there is always a moment when I feel like, "Please... No more video assignment."✌😅 I think, it would be more fun if I can meet my group mate to record it, unfortunately, the Corona has not gone yet. That's why I dislike video assignment.
The most enjoyable activity in Extensive Reading is when the class having a book club. We read a same story -shared by Sir Dankur-, then, we discuss it together. Even though we read the same story, our opinions are different. Each of us has different perspective in understanding the story, and I found it awesome!

In the beginning of the semester, I think reading is about a process to understand the meaning of a written text that involves imagination. Now, I think reading is more than just to understand the message of a text. Through reading, you can also feel the character's and the writer's emotion. It happens when you are absorbed by the story or book you read. Be careful with the ticking time, you will often forget to eat and not aware with your surroundings.
It is hard to say, but sadly, you have reached the end of this blog. I hope my blog posts can give you inspiration to read more books.
Don't forget to wear mask, wash your hands frequently, and always keep a social distancing. Thank you and see you!🐘
Ah, I'm curious about how reading has changed your problem-solving method, Jo. Thanks for writing this reflection!
